Registration
Candidates must register with MBAmatch before being able to use the service. Once registered, you will be issued with a Member ID and password which you may use to access all Member Services.
Member ID and password
- You will be assigned a Member ID by MBAmatch.com
- You may choose a password of your own (alphanumeric, minimum 6 characters, up to 20 characters long).
- In addition, you will be asked to record your mother's maiden name as a security measure in the event you forget your password.
- Each time you login, you will be able to view and amend your membership details.
You will only be able to use the service once all details are confirmed.
Recording your career details
- The main service for members is the recording, storing and maintaining of your career information on which clients will search.
- You are able to print off data input forms and compile the information off-line, before completing it on-line.
- Once completed, you are able to ‘submit’ the record to the database in real time.
Being contacted by Employers (Clients)
- Clients will then be able to search on all your details (except contact details and your current position) and place a ‘request to contact the member’ if required.
- We will contact you via e-mail and advise you of the client’s request and opportunity details.
- If we are unable to contact you via your primary e-mail address, we will endeavour to contact you via your secondary preferred method.
- You should then advise us of your intention to accept or decline the client’s request for contact, which will in turn, be passed back to them.
- If you accept the request for contact, we will advise the client of your e-mail address only.
- Following the contact (and any further contact) you (and the client) will be asked to complete a feedback response form. This action is important if we are to be able to monitor the integrity of all parties concerned and discover behaviour which may be outside of our code of conduct.
Member on-line search for opportunities/vacancies
- Members can search on the list of existing opportunities at anytime.
- You will then be able to ‘drill-down’ to any of the resulting opportunities to get the full detail (excluding the company contact details).
- If you decide that the opportunity is one which you wish to be considered for by the client, you can register your interest by simply clicking on the appropriate button.
- We will then e-mail the client with the your request and your member ID. The client will be requested to view your career details via the web site and agree to contact you in the normal way, if they so desire. Please note however, that the client may not wish to carry your interest any further. In this instance, you will be advised by us.
Contact details
In order to maintain the confidentiality of members, once you have agreed to receive a client’s contact, only your primary e-mail address will be passed to them.
